Some True Stories

We first looked at Forever Living Products in 1997. At the time I was a very successful senior manager in the telecoms industry and Jeff was running his own franchise.

For 13 months, a friend of Jeff's had been asking him to take a look at Forever, but he kept turning him down. He was too busy with his own business to consider anything else. But as the months went by and Jeff worked harder and harder for less and less money, he became more receptive to the idea.

So on a Wednesday in October 1997 he went to meet a couple in Exeter to check out the Forever business. He didn't really think it was for him, but he wanted to make a final decision based on the facts rather than his own preconceived ideas.

Two hours later he came home with a handful of scribbled papers and a belief that he had just seen the most amazing business that could change our lives. I was sceptical, to say the least, but in the end I agreed - after all, what did we have to lose?

So Jeff started his Forever business and I watched from the sidelines. When I saw how much fun he was having with it, we started working it together on a part-time basis. As it began to grow, so did our confidence. We also started to benefit personally from the products and began to feel much better. Soon there was no stopping us!

Just seven months after we first looked at the business, I took voluntary redundancy, which was a huge shock to my work colleagues. At the same time Jeff sold his business. We'd both come to the conclusion that our jobs gave us income but no lifestyle - and that Forever could deliver both, in spades.

We are now eleven years down the line.  We live in our beautiful eight bedroom detached house overlooking the beach and bay in Torquay.  The financial freedom we were told we would have if we worked this business happened years ago.  The most important things for us have been that the last eleven years have been our best.  We have quality time with each other, have laughed more, made more friends, "holidayed" around the world extensively, paid for by Forever and Jeff has been able to spend real quality time with his children and grand children, priceless.

"Seven stressful years as a futures and options broker gave me a typical cash rich/time poor lifestyle, and I decided that joining a couple of colleagues in a new financial services venture would benefit my lifestyle. Two years later I had lost everything, and was at rock bottom, both financially and emotionally.

A friend introduced me to Forever, and although highly sceptical, I was fascinated by the concept of building a royalty income that would give me a much more relaxed way of life. Starting the business part time (I had gone back to work in the city as a head-hunter) I managed to find around 15 hours a week and within 2 years was generating an income in excess of £5,000 a month. Going full time and working from home in July 1995 was a life changing experience. Gone was the dreaded commute on the tube, gone was the pressure and stress. Instead I found myself with an extra two hours a day; I got fit, spent time with my baby daughter Ella, and subsequently my other two children George and Alice.

I have gone on to build a substantial income generated from 36 different countries. But it has also allowed us to travel extensively; the USA 13 times, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil; the list goes on. In 2006 we went to Tanzania for three weeks, climbing Kilimanjaro in the process!

I have also earned over £300,000 in profit share on top of the six figure income and am also extremely grateful that the business has allowed me to privately educate my children, and importantly, spend quality time with them, an opportunity most working fathers never have.

Claire had joined Forever when she was still an extremely busy TV producer and director, working crazy hours in order to meet transmission deadlines. It was not uncommon for her to be in the studio at 1 am on a Saturday morning editing the programme ready to go out on the Sunday. This had already cost her her health. In 1997 she had gone down with ME or Chronic Fatigue, and was in bed for three months. Every year since then she had experienced a relapse, and on average was forced to spend at least a month a year in bed. In 2002 she joined me in the Forever business, and due to both the products and the more relaxed lifestyle, she has not had a relapse for three years, but more than that, we get to live the life we want.

Joining Forever was one of the scariest things I have ever done, but thank goodness I did because without Forever, I dread to think where my life would be today. No one guaranteed me it would be the answer to all my problems, but I can honestly say that on reflection it has delivered everything it promised. Don’t hesitate to get involved."
